The problem
Every F&B operator already has a POS system — sometimes three or four different ones across a growing network, after acquisitions, franchise conversions, or just different regional preferences. Each one captures transactions perfectly. None of them were built to feed a decision-making system. Getting clean, timely, structured transaction data out of a POS and into anything else usually means nightly batch exports, brittle CSV pipelines, and a data team babysitting integrations that break every time a POS vendor pushes an update.
The product
Zentallio POS is the connection layer between however your restaurants ring up an order and everything Iris does with that data afterward. One connector standard, built once, that speaks to the POS systems already running in your stores — not a request to rip and replace what's on the counter today.
Key features
Universal connectivity
- Pre-built connectors for the major POS platforms used across U.S., European, and South Asian QSR and casual dining markets
- One integration standard regardless of how many different POS vendors your network runs
- New POS vendor support added without touching your existing store hardware
Real-time, not batch
- Transaction data streams as it happens, not on a nightly export
- Order status, modifiers, voids, and refunds captured with full detail, not just the final total
- Sub-second latency from till to Iris in normal operating conditions
Built for messy reality
- Offline resilience — a store's internet drop doesn't lose data, it queues and syncs
- Handles multi-terminal stores and split/merged tickets without duplicating or dropping transactions
- Menu and pricing sync keeps item-level data consistent between the POS and every downstream module, so a renamed SKU doesn't silently break a report
Employee and shift context
- Every transaction carries who rang it, on what terminal, during which shift
- Feeds directly into labor-cost and item-group analysis without a separate reconciliation step
Integrates with
- Motus — inventory movement ties directly to what was actually sold, not a manual count reconciliation
- Numerus — revenue recognition flows straight into the ledger, transaction by transaction
- Manus — shift-level sales data cross-references against who was scheduled to work it
- Nexus — POS data joins the same timeline as delivery, supplier, and payroll data
Why Zentallio built this
Every other module in this platform assumes clean, timely transaction data exists. It usually doesn't — not because POS vendors do a bad job, but because nobody built the layer that turns "the POS has the data" into "the data is usable everywhere else, in real time." This is that layer.
See it on your data
Zentallio POS connects to your existing terminals — no hardware change, no register downtime during setup. Ask about connector support for your specific POS vendor.
